Flying into JFK

When I was in the Navy I flew to JFK to catch a plane to Groten Connecticut and being an island boy from Kona I was totally shocked at the sheer size of your airport compared to ours.

I had to run what seemed like 5 miles to the other side of JFK to make my connecting flight to Groten and I just barely made it.

So my tip is, if you're changing planes at JFK in New York, give yourself extra time to travel to a different airline terminal if you're changing planes/airlines.
